Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste


  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the lemon juice and zest, along with the white wine. Let the mixture simmer for about 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until everything is well coated.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and parsley. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
